Flash - Opera bug

Trying to find out why Rostislav Hristov´s excellent SWFAddress doesn´t work correctly under Opera, i found that the External Interface javascript calls seems to be “cut” while executing after some amount of time.

The problem is that that time seems to be in microseconds, because if instead of a simple alert i put some code, after the first ten / twelve lines of code the code aborts and the callback to flash is never executed… hanging the plug-in.

I made some simple test that works perfectly under IE / FF, but fails under Opera.

  1. It seems that things work better using the latest beta update of the Flash Player (9.0 r18d60).
